Teach for Thailand is a nonprofit organization committed to ensuring equitable education opportunities for all children in Thailand. We believe in driving change one classroom at a time by developing a network of leaders through the Fellowship Program. Our Fellows work closely with schools and communities to create long-term, meaningful impacts on students’ learning and future opportunities.

Education inequality in Thailand is worsening.

- Thai 15-year-olds lag two years behind their global peers.

- Over half of new graduates do not want to pursue a teaching career.

- Students from low-income families fall 3.8 years behind in learning compared to their wealthier peers.

This growing gap is driven by systemic barriers, economic disparities, and a shortage of qualified educators. To close this gap, we need skilled, committed individuals who deeply understand the challenges of Thailand’s education system.

Teach for Thailand develops leaders to improve educational opportunities for children in Thailand through our 2-year Fellowship Program where we recruit, develop and place people from all backgrounds to teach in underserved schools for 2 years. During this time, Fellows learn through firsthand experience and develop leadership skills by collaborating with stakeholders in schools and communities.

After their experience, graduates of the Program are empowered to drive positive changes in Thai education and beyond. Whether they carry on as teachers, become policymakers, start their own social enterprises or work in the public or private sector, they are able to affect change in different ways.

Over the past 12 years, Teach for Thailand has:

- Reached 168,000+ students nationwide

- Trained 563 Fellows placed in 110 schools & communities

- Built an alumni network of 362 leaders working across sectors to create lasting educational impact for 153,000 students

Donations will be used to support the operations of the foundation, enabling our Fellows and Alumni to create a positive impact for over 100,000 students across the country.
