Catster was founded by Kingdom of Tigers, a very well-known cat influencer who used her own fund to found a proper shelter for stray cats. Before beginning to find forever home for the feline friends in the shelter, they must be vaccinated and neutered or spayed to prevent unwanted reproduction. After the new joiners are ready to meet both new cat and human friends, they will join the shelter which also act as a cat café where everyone can come and get to know adoptable cats.

The number of stray cats has increased over the years. Many of these cats have not been vaccinated and sterilized so they can spread different type of infections and diseases including an uncontrolled amount of kitten reproduction.

Aiming to decrease the amount of stray cats sustainably, Catster work as a shelter for stray cats who are waiting to be adopted.

Before joining other cats in the shelter, all cats must get their blood tested for possible infectious diseases then get vaccinated for vital vaccines. For pre-teen or adult cats, they will be neutered or spayed by the veterinarian to reduce aggressive behaviors and birth control reason.
